Not sure if that points you in a better direction or not, but should help answer some questions, (I wanted to add memory and had to do a bunch of research and talked with the guy who parts a ton of these on the differences). The Chevy Silverado has long been a staple in the automotive world and that’s especially true in the truck community. If you take a look at yours and see the same plug already there - you don't need to pull that harness from the donor. If in doubt - pull the harness from under the drivers/pass seat up to the module under the dash. The power/heated seat will have the appropriate wires - the harness in the cab should be the same for all seats,(not sure on the manual seats). The only difference I've seen/heard is the very basic power seats just have 1-2 wires on the "seat" connector side, but have all the wires on the "under seat/floor" side of the connector. The connectors should be the same for basic power all the way through heated/memory/power seats. If there is NO connector, you will need to source that harness up to the module under the dash. Pull that entire door harness and swap into yours if not the entire door if you had manual windows.įor the seat connector - if there is a seat connector already under your seat of any kind - you are fine. The wires for the door run through and have 2 connectors in the side dash fuse panel/pull out part. The drivers window switch from the heated/powered seats truck is the "controller". To the best of my knowledge - the door cards are nice if you want the memory/other options.
